2009 APPSC Group 2 Results
Latest update is that the Group 2 Services Examination Results will be declared on 12th August 2009.

2008 APPSC Results
APPSC Group II Results December 2008 were declared today evening at 5 PM. These can be viewed on the Notice board of APPSC and also on the website of APPSC at www.apspsc.gov.in.

We are also waiting for the new notification of the Group I and Group II notifications. I will update this post once I get the information of the new notifications from APPSC.

It is hereby notified that on the basis of the results of the Written Examination held on 20/09/2008 and 21/09/2008 to the Executive Posts falling under Group II Services notified vide Notification No.32/2007, the candidates with the following Register Numbers have been provisionally admitted for the ORAL TEST (Interview) to be held in the Commission’s Office, Prathibha Bhavan, Opp. Gagan Vihar, M.J. Road, Nampally, Hyderabad.

2. The candidates who are qualified for Interview are required to produce the Original Certificates relating to Age, Qualifications, Community and Study (from 4th class to 10th class) etc., at the time of verification of documents, one day before the date of interview, failing which, they will not be admitted for interview.

If, on further verification it is found that any candidate is not eligible with reference to the particulars furnished by him/her in the Application Form/ Certificates the results of such candidate/ Candidates shall be canceled at any stage during the process of selection.Individual call letters indicating date of verification of certificates and date of Interview will be sent to the candidates separately.

The process of mass recruitment of teachers as per this GO will most probably be completed by May 2009. Here is the division of the number of posts - region wise Telangana would get 20,756 teachers, Coastal Andhra 20,858 and Rayalaseema area will get 11,041 Teachers post.

DSC 2008 Notification Summary
At last there is some good news for employment seekers in Andhra Pradesh, the AP government after much debates and discussions has finally released the Government Order GO 159 DSC 2008 for Direct recruitment for the post of teachers. There are totally 50063 vacancies under different categories.

Highlights of GO 159:

In the G.O., orders are issued to upgrade 15,584 posts if SGTs to that of School Assistants in the scale of Rs.7200-16925 and also to create 17,971 new posts of teachers (i.e., 12,210 School Assistants in the scale of Rs.7200-16925, 2,206 Physical Education Teachers in the scale of Rs.5470-12385 and 3,555 Language Pandits in the scale of Rs.5470-12385).
