3. The student should have scored a minimum 80% of marks in the Higher Secondary Examinations, March 2008 conducted by the State Board of School Examinations, TamilNadu, Chennai.

4. The students should belong to non-creamy layer as defined by the Department of Personnel and Training in their Notification No.36012/22/93-Estt. (SCT), dated 08.11.1993 and as modified vide their OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated 09.03.2004 and as may be further modified from time to time and not availing of any other scholarship scheme.

5. The reservation would be applicable in terms of Central Reservation Policy and internal earmarking.

6. The scholarship will be distributed amongst Pass outs of the Science, Commerce and Humanities Streams in the ratio of 3:2:1 with equal number among boys and girls.

IDBI bank has come up with a new recruitment notification for Assistant Manager vacancies. The total number of posts that are to be filled are 250.

The advertisement can be downloaded from IDBI Bank's website at http://www.idbibank.com/idbi/careers.asp. The only mode of applying for these posts is online through the bank's website. Interested candidates need to apply online between Jan 1 2009 to Jan 15 2009.

Selection Process:
The Selection process will comprise of Written Test (WT) followed by personal interview of the candidates who have qualified in the WT. The WT will comprise of Objective Type Questions having four components viz. (a) Test of Reasoning, (b) Test of English Language, (c) Test of Quantitative Aptitude and (d) Test of General & Financial Awareness. Questions papers for 'WT' except the paper on 'Test of English Language', will be set in Hindi and in English.

The number of candidates to be called for interview will be at the discretion of the Bank. Candidates may answer the questions at interview in Hindi or English, at their option. Candidate/s qualifying both in WT and interview would be considered for final selection and the same will be on the basis of performance in the WT and interview taken together.
