Central Government DA Hike by 6percent | New DA Calculator

The government of India Cabinet has announced a small bonanza for all the central government employees by approving a 6 percent hike in Dearness Allowance - this benefit is applicable for pensioners also.

The total additional expenditure with this measure is going to be 6020 Crore Rupees till Match 31 2010.

So on a gross basis the increase in DA will amount to 41 per cent to 47 per cent.

Once I have some information on the new DA as applicable to pensioners and regular employees and get a new DA calculator then I will post the same here.

You need not worry if you don't receive the admit cards (Hall Tickets) on time from your school, UP Government has introduced online admit cards for all the candidates who are appearing for this years UP Board Examinations - there are around 50 Lakh students.

So in case you don't receive the admit cards then you need not get stressed just go to the website http://upmsp.nic.in and download the admit card from there - they will be made available for download from FEB 24.

The Government of Maharashtra has decided to conduct a single Combined Common Entrance Test for selection to all degree courses in Health Science, BVSc & AH, Engineering and Pharmacy courses. The Entrance Test will be held on Thursday 7th May 2009 at all the district headquarters in Maharashtra.

The Competent Authority for the ‘MHT-CET-2009 Examination’ is Director of Medical Education and Research, Mumbai. However for the selection process there will be two separate Competent Authorities. For selection to Health Science courses, Director of Medical Education and Research, Mumbai will be the Competent Authority. For selection to Engineering and Pharmacy courses Director, Technical Education, Mumbai will be the Competent Authority.

The application form for MHT-CET-2009 is common for all the above said courses.However, the information brochures for Health Science Courses, Engineering courses and Pharmacy course are separate.
