NEET UG in Karnataka State will be held on 18th May (different set of question paper) - this is due to the upcoming elections in the state.

NEET 2013 Examination Pattern, as declared by the Joint Secretary (OSD-NEET)

The Entrance Examination consists of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only. There Shall be 45 Questions each from the Subjects Physics, Chemistry, and 90 Questions from Biology (Botany and Zoology). NEET 2013 Examination One time online correction opportunity Candidates of NEET-UG 2013 can avail a "one time correction opportunity" to correct personal particulars in the On-line Application submitted by the students on the website www.cbseneet.nic.in. This facility shall only be available during the period 1st February, 2013 to 28th February, 2013.

Kindly note that the important details like Correction in City of Centre/Choice of Seats/Questions Paper Medium/Category/Nationality are not allowed.

After correction, the candidates may print correction slip and retain the same for reference and record. Candidates are advised not to make any correspondence regarding corrections with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Status of receipt of Confirmation Page of Applications in the CBSE can also be viewed on-line on website www.cbseneet.nic.in with effect from 15th January, 2013 onwards.

As per the website there are 4 simple steps to apply online for NEET UG 2013:
  • Fill the Online Application Form and note down the Registration Number
  • Make Payment of Fee through E-Challan or Credit Card/Debit Card
  • Take a Printout of Confirmation Page and send to CBSE
  • Take a Printout of the Address Slip for posting on A5 Envelope
Please know that the application fee for this entrance test can be remitted by Debit Card/ Credit Card and Challan Deposite in Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office.
