K.S.Krishnan Research Associateship from Department of atomic energy

Department of atomic energy (DAE), Board of Research in Nuclear Science invites applications for the Dr. K.S.Krishnan Research Associateship (KSKRA) 22nd Batch.

Research associates selected under the above scheme will be given an opportunity to work on R&D programmes of National importance relevant to the DAE mandate in one of the following advanced Research centres:

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai
Indira Gandhi centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam,
Raja Ramanna Cntre for Advanced Technology, Indore
Variable Energy Cyclotron, Kolkatta or
Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Mumbai.

Upto 20 KSKRAs can be selected in a year and given a stipend for 2 yrs. At any time, they may be absorbed to work in any of the above centres as Scientific Officer/Engineer D/E

The associate-ships are available in the following disciplines.
Engineering (all subjects)
Physical sciences
Chemical Sciences

For Engineers, Ph.D in Engineering (those who have submitted thesis may also apply)
or Master's degree in Engineering(M.Tech/M.E/M.S) with a minimum of 2 yr R&D experience post qualification.

For Scientists,
Ph.D. degree in Science(those who have submitted thesis may also apply)

All candidates must have first class at either Masters or Bachelor's level.

Nationality & Age:
Indian Nationals who are not more than 32 years of age as on 1st January, 2010 may apply.
